<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and optimal intermediary node selecting method with few processing steps in a multi-hop radio communication network system comprising nodes distributed separately from a concentrated controller/base station. <P>SOLUTION: A node 4 receives detection response signals 105 to 107 addressed from nodes 1 to 3 to the other nodes, and obtains remaining battery levels of the nodes 1 to 3 and a receiving strength of electric wave signals coming from these nodes. Further, the nodes 4 determines, as an optimal node, a node whose remaining battery level and electric wave signal receiving strength are higher than an optimal preset values, and besides whose the remaining battery level is highest and then holds the information inside its own node. Afterward, the node 4 receives detection signals 104 for detecting the own node and if a remaining battery level and electric wave signal receiving strength of a transmission-source node of the detection signals 104 are higher than the optimal preset values, and newly compares the remaining battery level of the transmission-source node and that of the optimal intermediary node held by itself to determine a node whose remaining battery level is higher as the optimal intermediary node. Thereafter, the node 4 notifies an ID of the optimal intermediary node to the concentrated controller/base station 0 through the detection response signals 108 and link notification signals 109. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
