<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a brushless motor drive circuit that can prevent the burnout of a motor coil. <P>SOLUTION: The brushless motor drive circuit that controls the drive of a brushless motor comprises a PWM control function for controlling energization amounts to the motor coils L1, L2 of the brushless motor, and also is provided with a control IC 52 having an external input terminal Ct for PWM control, and a temperature detection circuit 51 that generates a control signal outputted to the external input terminal Ct of the control IC 52 in accordance with the detected temperature of a temperature sensor T21 arranged in the vicinity of the motor coils L1, L2 of the brushless motor.
