<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transmit information by improving a displaying method particularly on an image display device and to efficiently perform image transmission in a system for providing a TV telephone function by a camera incorporated type VTR capable of recording/reproducing images photographed by a video camera. <P>SOLUTION: In a TV telephone system using the camera incorporated type VTR, information indicating which area is displayed on an image receiving side is transmitted to an image transmitting side, the image transmitting side receives the information indicating which area is displayed from the image receiving side and transmits only an image area corresponding to the area or reduces the data capacity of an area other than the image area corresponding to the size less than that of the other and transmits the capacity-reduced image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
