<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce a load of a user for obtaining a proper corrected translation in a machine translation program and a machine translation device translating a natural language into another natural language. <P>SOLUTION: A sentence of a first language to be translated, and a translated sentence of a second language are prepared. Each translation in the translated sentence of the second language is coordinated with each word equivalent to the translation in the sentence of the first language to be translated. It is determined whether or not each of the coordinated word of the first language is a compound word. Words determined not to be compound words are compared with each other, words determined to be compound words are compared with each other, and the words determined not to be compound words are compared with the words determined to be compound words. In comparison pairs of the words, words matching at least partially are extracted, and words of the first language by the coordination including the extracted words are displayed along with the translations coordinated with respect to the words. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
