PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless device that ensures proper communication quality, in a variety of utilization forms, available through a 2-shaft hinge assembly. SOLUTION: A mobile wireless device 100 with a 2-shaft hinge has a first antenna 102 suitable for communication mode and a second antenna 104 suitable for standby mode. The first antenna 102 or second antenna 104 is selected, according to the open/close detection results, determined by the angleαof a first shaft 106 and by the angleβof a second shaft 107, so that an antenna which has not been affected by user's hands or fingers can be selected.
