PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of an electronic program guide by which the electronic program guide composed of an amount of information necessary for a user can be obtained by simple operations by a user interface easily comprehensive to everyone. SOLUTION: The electronic program guide creating device is provided with a second controller 103b for selecting one piece of information on the form of indication out of several pieces of information on the form of indication stored in a character size setting information table 105 in which several types of information on the form of indication for specifying the form of indication of the electronic program guide are stored and a character size setting and holding part 106 in which the selection information for specifying the information on the form of indication selected by the second controller 103b is temporarily stored. It is also provided with a graphics generator 104 which creates the electronic program guide according to the information on the form of indication stored in the character size setting and holding part 106.
