PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing method and an image reproducing apparatus capable of solving user's feeling of getting bored due to repeated reproduction of similar images. SOLUTION: The image reproducing method includes a step for deciding the similarity of a plurality of images to be continuously reproduced; a step for setting the reproducing period of each of the plurality of images in accordance with similarity with the image reproduced immediately after each of the images; and a step for successively reproducing the plurality of images in each set reproducing period.
