PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber press board that is light, preferably has a high flexural strength, a low water absorption, excellent air permeability and is recycled without being disposed. SOLUTION: The pressed fiber press board comprises 5-80 wt% of an inelastic polyester-based crimped short fiber and 95-20 wt% of a heat-bonding fiber that is composed of a fiber-forming polymer having a melting point≥40°C lower than the melting point of the polyester constituting the short fiber and, if necessary, a fiber-forming inelastic polyester in which at least the former is exposed to a fiber surface (the matrix fiber + the heat bonding fiber =100 wt%) and at least a part of the contact points between the heat-bonding fibers and/or the contact points between the heat bonding fibers and the inelastic polyester-based crimped short fiber is heat-bonded.
