METHOD FOR PREVENTING FOULING OF HEAT EXCHANGER FOR COOLING RESIDUAL OIL OF HYDROGENATION-DESULFURIZING DECOMPOSITION PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing fouling in a heat exchanger by inhibiting the precipitation of sediment in the heat exchanger for cooling the residual oil of a hydrogenation-desulfurizing decomposition process, containing a large amount of asphaltene. SOLUTION: This method for preventing the fouling of the heat exchanger for the hydrogenation-desulfurizing decomposition process by mixing flux oil to the residual oil of the hydrogenation-desulfurizing decomposition process on introducing the residual oil of the hydrogenation-desulfurizing decomposition process containing≥1 wt% asphaltene into the heat exchanger for cooling and then cooling is provided. The flux oil is at least 1 kind of the residual oil selected from a group consisting of the residual oil of a reduced pressure crude oil distillation device and residual oil of a fluidized catalytic cracker, and the residual oil is mixed with the residual oil of the hydrogenation-desulfurizing decomposition process so as to regulate the actually presenting amount of the sediment measured by an IP-375 method by≤0.2 wt%.
