PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device capable of reliably suppressing the stick-slip noise, and increasing the rigidity. SOLUTION: The wheel bearing device comprises an outer ring 105 with double-row raceway surfaces formed on an inner circumference, a hub ring 101 with one raceway surface formed on an outer circumference, an inner ring 102 which is press-fitted to a small-diameter stepped part 112 of the hub ring 101, and the other raceway surface formed on the outer circumference, and double-row rolling elements 103, 104 interposed between the raceway surfaces of the hub ring 101 of the outer ring 105 and the inner ring 102. The hub ring 101 and the inner ring 102 are integrated with each other by caulking an end of the small-diameter stepped part 112 of the hub ring 101, and a joint outer ring 115 of a constant velocity universal joint 106 is inserted in the inside diameter of the hub ring 101 and spline-fitted. A stopper part 133a is formed on an end face of a spline 128 of the inside diameter of the hub ring 101, a locking part 132a is formed on a stem part 127, the locking part 132a is butted to the stopper part 133a, and a space n in the axial direction is formed between a caulking part 111 of the hub ring 101 and a shoulder part 116 of the joint outer ring 115.
