PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an emulsion in which disperse-phase particles having an equal diameter are dispersed. SOLUTION: An emulsification apparatus 1 is prepared which has a continuous phase housing vessel 4 for housing a material for forming a continuous phase and a disperse phase housing vessel 2 which has a cylindrical shape, on the cylindrical wall of which a plurality of through-holes 3 having one and the same shape and one and the same area are formed, which is arranged in the continuous phase housing vessel 4 so that the direction of the central axis of the disperse phase housing vessel 2 is made coincident with the vertical direction of the continuous phase housing vessel 4 and in which a material for forming a disperse phase is housed. The material for forming the disperse phase is prepared and housed in the disperse phase housing vessel 2. The material for forming the continuous phase is prepared and housed in the continuous phase housing vessel 4 so as to immerse the through-holes 3 in the continuous phase. The dispersed phase housing vessel 2 is rotated around the central axis thereof at a constant speed in the continuous phase housing vessel 4 so that the dispersed phase is pushed out of the through-holes 3 to the continuous phase and dispersed in the continuous phase by means of the centrifugal force.
