Screwed crown for a timepiece

The crown has a head (8) with a tubular central part surrounded by a lateral skirt (12), and a case with an end surface carrying a design. The head has a truncated surface portion that co-operates with a truncated surface portion of a wall of the case. An elastic annular insert enables integration of the case on the head by wedging the portions and the disintegration of the case to allow the case to turn freely with respect to the head.
