A metal sheet has two sets of elongated dimples 2, 3 with rounded ends and which curve into the surrounding sheet the two sets being on opposite sides of the sheet and the axes of the dimples in each set being parallel and at an angle to the axes of the dimples of the other set, a dimple of one set being between each two dimples of the other set and the dimples being so close together that no straight line can be drawn across the sheet which does not go through a dimple.
