A recycling unit comprises 3 bins 1, a pedestal, base 2 and lid 3 to facilitate the separation of waste material. Preferably the bins are different lengths and may be fastened to the pedestal. The lid may be hinged and lockable with 3 apertures (4, Fig 1) to allow the waste to enter the bins. The apertures may have internal sheathing to prevent tampering and removal of the collected items and prevent unwanted material being deposited in the bins. The unit may be installed/fixed into the ground by concrete or a suitable fixture. |
