A container 10 for a foodstuff having at least a first layer 22, a second layer 24 and a filling 11 there between, such as a sandwich or roll, comprises a first formation 12 to support the first layer 22 of the foodstuff and a second formation 14 to hold at least a portion of the second layer 24 of the foodstuff in a position spaced from the first layer 22 of the foodstuff. The second formation 14 is preferably configured to hold the second layer 24 at an angle with respect to the first layer 22 and it preferably shaped to hold at least a portion of the filling 11 at a position from the first layer 22. The container 10 preferably has two parts 12, 14 which are joined by hinge means 16. |
