Wearable liquid crystal thermometer patch

A wearable flat patch thermometer includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) where the colour of the LCD changes in dependence upon the temperature of the wearer's body. The device also includes a series of micro sensors. The patch is attachable to a garment (for example it is embroidered onto clothing), and is washable. The patch is useable as a communicator device by visually displaying the temperature to another person wearing a similar device.
