Electrical multiple layer component comprises monolithic base body (1) with stack of alternating dielectric and electrode layers (31-34). Body (1) has two side surfaces (41, 42) lying opposite each other along stacking direction. Outer electrodes (51-54) are provided on each side surface and inner electrodes are formed in electrode layers. Electrode layers overlap forming multiple layer electrode.
