<p>The power cable (21,21a) is approximately circular in cross section and is deformed in at least one middle area into a flat cable (22) with a rectangle-shaped cross section. The respective flat cable is formed with an insulation (3) which is rectangular in cross section. An independent claim is also included for the method for the manufacture of the power cable.</p>
