The combination blade includes a common blade (13) with a knife blade (9) and stomach opening blade (11) at either sides of a joint on the handle (20). A latching mechanism has a projecting shoulder located between knife linings to prevent further rotation of the common blade relative to the handle when one of the blades is brought to use position. The cutting edges (10,12) of both blades are on the same side of the common blade.
