摘要 <p>PURPOSE: Closing structure of a shock absorber is provided to stabilize damping force efficiently at a low speed by modifying seal structure with a square ring and forming a micro slit. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber closing structure consists of a seal(600) combined fixed in a rod(3) by an O-ring(10) and composed of a check lip(13), and a rod guide(800) arranged in the lower part of the seal. Plural micro slits(810) are formed axially in a protruded sill(801) of the rod guide to discharge gas to the check lip of the seal. A square ring(100) is inserted between the protruded sill and a bush(9) to close the seal. The simple seal prevents oil in a tube(7) from being flowed out and counter flow of gas in a double cylinder(1) in applying shock or vibration to the rod, and closes oil filled in the rod guide. Oil film is formed around the rod according to axial reciprocating motion of the rod to prevent counter flow of gas filled in the double cylinder from pressure rising. The discharge of oil is minimized at a low speed, and the damping force is stabilized. The operation efficiency of the shock absorber is improved with flowing gas through the micro slits to the double cylinder.</p>
