PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground tank management system capable of totally and constantly monitoring abnormality of an underground tank from a remote site. SOLUTION: The underground tank management system includes underground tank sensors 20 for sensing abnormality related to oil leakage from an underground tank body 30 and occurrence of an earthquake, a controller 10 for receiving signals sensed by the sensors 20 to generally determine the abnormality, a display 18 for displaying the determination results by the controller 10, and an anti-overflow valve 19 for unloading which is controlled to open/close by a controller 11. The system detects the oil leakage and the occurrence of the earthquake by the sensors 20, determines the abnormality by the controller 11 based on the signals received from the sensors 20, makes an indication on the display 18, and controls the valve 19 to open/close.
