FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing external fixation device rods into proximal and distal fractured clavicle fragments. The rods nearest to fracture site are introduced into the fragments at an angle of 30-60° to the fracture site in a plane inclined at 30° forward relative to frontal plane of patient. The rods disposed far from the fracture site are introduced into fractured bone fragments at an angle of 30-60° from the fracture site. The device has two subsystems connected to each other, and rods. Each subsystem is assembled on plate having openings on ends and slit in its center. The rods are fixed on the plate with hexagonal cylinder having threaded hole on the end face and canal for introducing rod, screw with check nut and holder. The rods have ribbon threading, having 1.5 mm large thread pitch taking 2/5 of rod length. The threaded rod portion is conic with its diameter changing from 5.0 to 1.5 mm. ^ EFFECT: accelerated rehabilitation period; high fixation stability. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
