FIELD: oil production industry, particularly for temporary productive reservoir isolation during well repair and to isolate lower reservoirs when passing from lower reservoirs to upper ones. ^ SUBSTANCE: packer comprises hollow bore with plug and rest, as well as fixer made as shear member. Locating fixer connects driving body made as connection pipe, with upper part of hollow bore. The plug is installed in hollow bore top. The rest may slide upwards relatively hollow bore and is provided with stem, which may cooperate with well bottom. In transport position the rest is fixed relatively hollow bore with shear screw. Sealing member and cone fixedly connected with lower end of hollow bore are arranged over the rest. In working position the cone cooperates with the rest. Sealing member position regulator is arranged in the hollow bore. The position regulator is made as hollow insert installed in hollow bore and arranged over the cone. The position regulator has slips spring-loaded inwards. The slips are made as pistons, which may perform radial movement outwards under the action of excessive internal pressure in the bore interior, which communicates with ambient space below sealing member through the stem. ^ EFFECT: elimination of work repetition and premature works for packer unsealing and decreased additional costs. ^ 2 dwg
