FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: ball-screw reduction gear comprises several sections composed of outer and inner races with ways and return ways and carrier interposed between the races. The ports provided in the carrier receive balls which are in a contact with the carrier via the rollers. Between the outer races there are adjusting rings and spring members. Each subsequent row of ports in the carrier is shifted with respect to the previous one in the peripheral direction by 25,2°. The longitudinal grooves of the outer races receive plugs from one side and inserts from the outer side. The outer races are locked against movement in the peripheral direction in the unmovable bushings by means of adjusting keys. ^ EFFECT: enhanced durability. ^ 6 dwg
