FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, construction of earth tillage tools used for potato planting. ^ SUBSTANCE: manual potato planter has shank with blade, handle extending perpendicular to shank, bracket, and receptacle reservoir. Potato planter is further equipped with movable foot stop, catch, spacing restricting device, and retainer. Shank is made in the form of metal pipe whose lower part has skew cut arranged at side adjacent handle and provided with closing flap. Upper part of pipe is made widened so as to define receptacle reservoir. Movable foot stop is rigidly connected with flap and catch and is pivotally connected with bracket. Spacing restricting device is made in the form of rectangular plank positioned for rotation through 180 deg and is positioned under stop. Retainer is positioned in lower part of pipe under spacing restricting device. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified potato planting, and provision for precise spacing. ^ 3 dwg |
