<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document processor for preventing any electronic document data equivalent to a higher order version from being lost at the time of transferring data between a user using an electronic document processor corresponding to the higher order version and a user using an electronic document processor corresponding to a lower order version. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic document processor comprizes an operation means, a means for compiling the electronic document by an electronic document processor corresponding to a lower order version, and for releasing the password of the temporarily held electronic document, and for compounding the electronic document at the time of returning the electronic document to the electronic document processor corresponding to a higher order version again and a converting means for analyzing a difference between the temporarily stored electronic document and the changed part of the compiled electronic document, and for merging the compiled part, and for converting it into the file format of the electronic document corresponding to the higher order version. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
