PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light projection head for a photoelectric switch which can miniaturize a light projection quantity control means for controlling the light projection quantity of a photoelectric sensor utilizing laser to a predetermined value. SOLUTION: The light projection quantity control means of the light projection head for a photoelectric switch is provided with a power supply input section for inputting power for driving a light projection element; a switching element for adjusting the power received from the power supply input to be supplied to the light projection element; a monitor signal generator for generating a monitor signal on the basis of the light-receiving quantity detected by a light-receiving element for a monitor; and an adjusting circuit having a built-in reference voltage generating circuit for generating a reference voltage, and a built-in differential amplifier circuit AMP for comparing the monitor signal generated in the monitor signal generator with the reference voltage generated in the reference voltage generating circuit.
