PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric part housing container which allows electric parts to operate normally for a long time without causing the deterioration of characteristics of the electric parts, and is superior in airtight reliability. SOLUTION: The electric part housing container is comprised of: an insulating substrate 1 which is provided with a mounting part on its upper side to mount an electric part 4; and a cover 2 which is joined to the upper side of the insulating substrate 1 to cover the electric part 4 by means of a sealing material 3. The joint of the cover 2 and the insulating substrate 1 is made rectangular, and the fillet of the sealing material 3 is formed from the outer side of the cover 2 to the upper surface of the insulating substrate 1, and the fillets at corners of the cover 2 are made larger than those on other regions.
