PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker that allows I-t characteristic adjustment to be performed as necessary according to the results of an I-t characteristic test after assembly of the circuit breaker is completed, and that eliminates the need for a process for preventing the possibility of users' erroneous handling of an I-t adjustment screw after shipment. SOLUTION: In the circuit breaker having a power-supply-side terminal as a plug terminal section, a tool-inserting section 3a facing the I-t adjustment screw 52 of a bimetal 51 is provided at a portion of a lateral groove 3 for main-bar engagement of the plug terminal section 2 provided for the case 1.
