PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lance from buckling resisting against pulling force in a drawing direction by increasing intensity of the lance. SOLUTION: A lance 13 which can be resiliently locked to a female terminal fitting 30 is projectingly formed in an inner surface of a cavity 11 in a housing 10. A pair of right and left stabilizers 37 guiding insertion operation of the female terminal fitting 30 are projectingly formed in the female terminal fitting 30. After the female terminal fitting 30 is inserted into the cavity 11, both the stabilizers 37 are disposed outside of both sides of the lance 13 in a width direction. A pair of right and left lance reinforcing parts 19 integrally extended along both side surfaces of the lance 13 in the width direction are provided in the inner surface of the cavity 11 in the housing 10.
