PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing a manufacturing cost by surely light-shielding a driving circuit with a simple configuration in the display device equipped with the driving circuit. SOLUTION: The display apparatus of the invention comprises; a liquid crystal panel 10 including a wiring substrate; the driving circuit 30 provided in the wiring substrate; a flexible printed circuit (FPC) 22 for the panel attached to a front side in which the driving circuit 30 of the wiring substrate is provided; an FPC 21 for a sensor which is extended from the FPC 22 for the panel and which is attached to the rear side of the wiring substrate. The FPC 21 for the sensor is equipped with an extension section 21b which extends to an area where the driving circuit 30 of the wiring substrate is provided, and an extended pattern 56 for light-shielding the driving circuit 30 at the extension section 21b of the FPC 21 for the sensor is formed.
