PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic roof gate for rotatably moving an upper side detaining bar and a lower side detaining bar in the direction for separating from an air bag, when a steel plate door body rises up and falls down, by stopping the door body by tension generated when this upper side detaining bar, an adjusting detaining bar and the lower side detaining bar become a straight line shape, when the door body rises up to a predetermined attitude. SOLUTION: When the door body 22 rises up to the predetermined attitude, the upper side detaining bar 36, the adjusting detaining bar 32 and the lower side detaining bar 31 become the straight line shape, and the steel plate door body 22 does not rise more than that, and the steel plate door body 22 starts rising-up/falling-down motion. When tensile force acting on the upper side detaining bar 36, the adjusting detaining bar 32 and the lower side detaining bar 31 disappears, the upper side detaining bar 36 moves the adjusting detaining bar 32 in the direction for separating from the air bag 4 by rotating in the counterclockwise direction by tensile force of a spring 39.
