PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which is a washable type hair rinse not containing a silicone compound and gives a good slipping touch and an excellent wet touch similar to those of silicone-containing hair rinses. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is characterized by comprising the following components (A), (B) and (C); (A) 1 to 10 wt% of a cationic surfactant, (B) 1 to a10 wt% of an aliphatic higher alcohol, and (C) 1 to 10 wt% of a polyoxyalkylene polyhydric alcohol ether having an average alkylene oxide addition molar number of 5 to 90 moles.
