PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for a water purifier in which antibacterial ion eluting members having different antibacterial ion elution quantities are combined to elute antibacterial ions so that antibacterial effect can be given over a long period of time without being influenced by water flowing conditions. SOLUTION: The water purifier is equipped with a filtering cartridge which is composed of a plurality of filter media and hollow fiber membranes for treating city water. The filter medium comprises an adsorbent layer which has functions of adsorbing organic materials and heavy metals in the city water and an antibacterial ion eluting member which elutes metal ions having antibacterial performance. The adsorbent layer and the antibacterial ion eluting member are disposed in this order in an axial direction of the cartridge for the water purifier. The antibacterial ion eluting member is constituted by combining two or more kinds of antibacterial ion eluting members having different elution quantities of metal ions with antibacterial performance.
