Pressurised metered dose inhalers containing a solution of an active agent and hydrofluorocarbon propellant, co-solvent and optionally low volatility component, selected from glycerol, polyethylene glycol and isopropyl myristate, that part or all of the internal surfaces of inhalers consisting of stainless steel, anodised aluminium or being lined with an inert organic coating and the active agent is selected from the group consisting of anticholinergics, budesonide and epimers thereof, beta-adrenergic agonist and combination thereof.
