<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell capable of shortening conducting initialization time, and a manufacturing method of the solid oxide fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A ceria-based electrolyte material contained in an air electrode 3 of a unit cell 1 gets into an interface between an electrolyte layer 2 and the air electrode 3, and inhibits the air electrode from reaction with zirconia as a component material of the electrolyte layer 2. As a result, formation of a pyrochlore phase near the interface between the electrolyte layer 2 and the air electrode 3 is restrained, so that it is easy to partially remove the pyrochlore phase by electricity conduction, and consequently, it becomes possible to shorten the conducting initialization time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
