<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image forming apparatus which can perform image processing of an object's original in a proper state and appropriately perform image adjustments, even if it is operated by a non-expert person who is not a skilled hand. <P>SOLUTION: A correspondence table, for showing a correspondence between image quality types of image-processing objects and control parameters as a control factor performing an image quality adjustment, is preliminarily provided in an operation part 24 of a digital copier 10. The control parameters of this correspondence table are the image quality mode, filter coefficient, filter strength, γ, isolated point removal, etc.. Image quality types are film photography, a vehicle inspection certificate, back projection, a newspaper, FAX, background, low contrast, etc. and these are determined so that each of the parameters becomes optimum. Accordingly, a service engineer can uniquely decide the corresponding control parameters, by only specifying the image quality type on the operation part 24, adequate image adjustment can be easily performed, even by a non-expert. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
