<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve source certification and original certification of a document by use of tint block data holding secrecy. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine 205 reads tint block data 203 stored in an IC card (portable storage medium) 201 from the IC card, and also performs image reading to a document 202 to acquire image data (1) 204 to be printed. The read tint block data 203 is composed with the acquired image data (1) 204 to form print data, and printing is performed based on the formed print data to output a document with tint block 206.
