<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic apparatus which can acquire a light confining effect, is reliable and easy to manufacture and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A texture formation layer 2 which is made of a ZnO is formed on a substrate 1. The texture formation layer 2 has an irregular shape to the top surface side. A metal gas filling layer 3 made of a silicon oxide is formed on the texture formation layer 2, and a first electrode 4, a photoelectric conversion layer 6 and a second translucent electrode 7 are sequentially formed on the metal gas filling layer 3. The texture formation layer 2, the metal gas filling layer 3 and the first electrode 4 are separated by an isolation groove G1 at the predetermined spacing, and the photoelectric conversion layer 6 and the second electrode 7 are separated by isolation grooves G2 and G3 at the predetermined spacing, respectively. The plurality of the photoelectric conversion cells 10, and a plurality of the photoelectric conversion cells 10 and the periphery part 100R of the photovoltaic apparatus 100 are separated by the isolation grooves G1-G3 formed by laser patterning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
