PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensing element which executes a high regenerating output in the magnetic sensing element while reduces the asymmetric (asymmetry) of a regenerating wave, by devising the configuration of a free magnetism layer or a fixed magnetism layer, and also to provide a method of manufacturing it. SOLUTION: In a second fixed magnetic layer 14c and a free magnetism layer 16 interior, the atomic% of an element Z is made small in a nearer region in a nonmagnetic substance layer 15. Thereby, a ferromagnetic joint magnetic field H<SB>in</SB>by a magnetostatic bond (topological coupling) between the fixed magnetic layer and the fixed magnetic layer is made small. Simultaneously, in the region distant from the nonmagnetic substance layer 15 of the second fixed magnetic layer 14c and the free magnetic layer 16 interior, the atomic% of the above element Z is enlarged, and a spin dependency bulk scattering coefficientβis made high, and the productΔRA of the magnetic reluctance variationΔR of the magnetic sensing element and the element area A are highly maintained.
