PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch that visually distinguish its switching direction of an optical path. SOLUTION: The switching direction is easily distinguished by installing a transparent part with a magnifying function on the package cover of the optical switch, looking into the optical switch through the transparent part, and visually recognizing a movable block position and a marker position. Wrong distinction of the switching direction is eliminated by using a mirror for the base board of an optical fiber switching mechanism, and thereby facilitating the visual recognition of the movable block position.
