METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DEODORIZING ORGANIC WASTE WATER OR SLUDGE BY USING VACUUM TREATMENT UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing method in which the concentration/volume of a malodorous component of organic waste water or sludge is made high/low so that organic waste water or sludge can be deodorized at a low cost by using a compact deodorization apparatus and to provide the deodorization apparatus.

SOLUTION: The method for deodorizing organic waste water or sludge comprises the steps of: introducing the malodorous component-dissolved organic waste water or sludge into a vacuum treatment unit to make the concentration/volume of the malodorous component in the waste water or sludge high/low in a gas phase; and discharging high-concentration/volume-reduced malodorous component forcibly to the outside to treat the malodorous component intensively. The apparatus for deodorizing organic waste water or sludge is provided with: a vacuum deaeration unit to which an inflow pipe of the malodorous component-dissolved organic waste water or sludge, a discharge pipe of deaerated sludge and a supply pipe of air for adjusting the degree of the vacuum are connected; an iron oxide-used dry desulfurization unit for deodorizing the malodorous component-containing exhaust gas deaerated by the vacuum deaeration unit; and a deodorization fan for discharging the exhaust gas desulfurized by the dry desulfurization unit to the outside.
