<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic combustion device capable of easily controlling the combustion of a catalytic combustion portion. <P>SOLUTION: This catalytic combustion device comprises a gas supply portion for supplying a combustion gas, and a catalytic combustion portion communicated with the gas supply portion and holding a catalyst for catalytic combustion of a fuel gas. The catalytic combustion control portion for controlling the catalytic combustion portion implements an igniting operation for igniting the catalytic combustion portion in an area K1 out of a combustible range where the fuel gas and the air are burnt while generating flame, and an increasing operation for increasing the air volume per unit time, supplied to the catalytic combustion portion to be more than that at ignition, after ignition operation or after determination of ignition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
