EXPANDABLE FLEXIBLE DUCT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable flexible duct for air conditioner having contraction and expansion properties, superior handling property and good heat resistance.

SOLUTION: Directly to the outer face of a tube body 2 which is formed in a tubular shape by a flexible base material film or sheet 10 having a metal foil layer and a synthetic resin layer, a nonflammable reinforcing member 30 is fixed which is spirally formed to hold the pipe body 2 in the tubular shape. The pipe body 2 and the reinforcing member 30 are integrated with each other. An inorganic fiber layer can be used instead of the metal foil layer.
