PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having rotational pulse detection function, having the same functions as those of an ordinary bearing, such as compactness of built-in space of the bearing and sealing performance of the bearing, while storing a detector and a detected body in a bearing, without having to secure a new space. SOLUTION: In this rolling bearing, a sensor magnet 10 fitted to an inner ring 1 is not a sintered magnet, but a bonded magnet in which N-pole and S-pole are alternately magnetized in the circumferential direction, or N-pole, S-pole and no pole, or S-pole, N-pole and no pole are magnetized alternately. The sensor is fitted rather closer to the raceway surface than a seal plate 3 supported by an outer ring 2, and the surface facing the seal plate 3 is taken as the inner ring 1, whereby making use of the fact that the occupied area of the bond magnet is smaller, the bearing space for installing a magnetic sensor 11 is expanded, and the sensor 11 except a lead wire and the sensor magnet 10 are stored in a limited narrow bearing space, such as ordinary bearing.
