PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve capable of preventing a valve seat from being worn in a short time. SOLUTION: Valve seats 3a rotatably supporting spherical valves 6 are formed on the mutually facing end face inner peripheral parts of a pair of valve seat members 3A and 3B. Projected parts 3b projected to the valve seat 3a side and surrounding the valve seats 3a are formed at the end face intermediate parts. Thus, storage recessed parts 3c opening to the spherical valves 6 are formed at the portions of the valve seat members 3A and 3B adjacent to the mutually facing end face valve seats 3a.
