PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the release wire of a remote control drain plug unit that can endure the tensile strength at the time of construction and the load at the time of its application without malfunction. SOLUTION: In the release wire 3 of the remote control drain plug unit that opens and closes a drain outlet 2 of a tank body 1 by the remote control, the release wire 3 constitutes the outer tube 5 that consists of a flexible cylindrical body in the side direction and the inner wire 4 that penetrates in the outer tube 5 in free to forward or backward. It is characterized that it constitutes to press an outer end 6 to screw a male thread 8 on the outer circumference face while constituting a cylindrical flange part 7 formed in at least one of end part of the above outer tube 5 protruding in the end part toward the outside.
