摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water soluble coolant photopurification device having high durability and purification efficiency of photocatalysts and inexpensively manufacturable. SOLUTION: Porous ceramics particles 42 carried with photocatalysts on the surfaces are disposed in dipped states in a photopurification tank 32. When water soluble coolant 16 is passed through the photopurification tank 32, ultraviolent rays are irradiated toward the porous ceramics particles 42 from an ultraviolet radiating lamp 34 from the above of the water soluble coolant 16, and the water soluble coolant 16 is purified by the photocatalysts carried by the porous ceramics particles. The photocatalysts carried by the porous ceramics particles 42 touch the dust to be appropriately prevented from wearing for obtaining high durability. The photocatalysts are irradiated with ultraviolent rays through the water soluble coolant 16 and high purification efficiency of the photocatalysts are obtained as compared with conventional back irradiation.
