The detent bolt (12) has a detent pin (16) which can be driven axially through rotational movement of a handle (18) to lock and unlock two component parts. A radial screw slot guide for a radial pin (20) is provided between the detent pin and housing sleeve (13) and the radial pin can engage in an axial end groove whilst reducing the spring force (17) so that the radial pin has to be axially displaced and thus unlocked before turning back though axial traction or pressure against the force of the spring. The detent pin is held in its locking or unlocking position through at least one circumferentially extending groove.
