The after-burn device has a burner (10) with porous structure for a reactor. Between the outlet for the gas containing the inflammable constituents and/or the outlet for the oxygen-containing gas on the one side and the burner with the porous structure on the other side is a distributor device (9) which has openings (16) to the porous structure burner.
